So many people don’t actually know what colorism is. Quite a few people confuse colorism with racism. In this video I break down exactly what colorism is and who can suffer from colorism.
Let’s look at the differences between colorism and racism, and also look at how they are interlinked.
Angel, let me make this clear; you are a gorgeous BLACK man first… because I am attracted to your intellectual mind, and then me acknowledging your physical man is not wrong either. You engage my thoughts on what is happening to our people. I have been watching you for some time now. I can recall the interview you gave with Cynthia G., And someone made reference to the two of you should date each other…yeah that’s how long you have been a distinct voice in my world. I say world because I don’t let many into my thoughts for a reason. Your skin color didn’t make me retain the knowledge you have shared with us as a people. Very few men make an impression on me. I can’t tell you what that is but you teach the mind and engage the soul. Let me explain… their is a song of the people and they sang it as they passed by the obolisk when let by a cloud. I will let you find the mystery to that parable on your own, although I’m sure you know it already…Our brothers are beginning to recall the melody in their hearts as they begin to remember the love we once all shared for one another. So blessings to you and your beautiful wife (hopefully) she is very pretty, and to your beautiful children. I look forward to hearing more of your work. Take care my brother. We must all remember, Isaac and Ishmael were brothers regardless of their training in faith, and we must fight as a family in times of trouble. We can be mad at each other in private, but the world must see unity between us at all times if we want to survive.
