Many non Black latinos and hispanics spread the false narrative that racism doesn’t exist in the latino and hispanic community.

This is problematic on so many levels! He disregarded her feelings, and made her look like she was “the angry black woman” who was trying to pick up a fight for the sake of it.
Latinos are just as racist as Americans, we are just better at hiding it. Black people are murdered, and discriminated against on a daily basis we just don’t talk about it. That’s why I don’t identify myself with the “latin community”. As a black/brown woman am I supposed to think that Shakira somehow repesents me? The only thing we have in common is that we’re both from Colombia, and that’s it.
That goofy looking muhfugga is nothing but a weak as water dumbass racist cretin!
Even though I’m a African Canadian with Jamaican and Guyanese blood I’ve seen fellow Afro Latinos deny their blackness. In my school, there are some Afro Latinos who are Dominican, I remember in both of my classes there was this dark skinned brother who was Dominican. When I asked him about his ancestry he only mentioned his Spanish blood and said to me that he wasn’t black, confused me, but I asked him about the Haitians who live next door. He also said that he hated them which shocked me because both Haitians and Dominicans were both black, this is why our community is so divided, because we fight over skin shade and close doors to those who are biracial and light skinned. I pray to God that one day we unite as one people, this needs to be called out and be fixed.
I vividly remember this episode and the commentary that followed on the anti-Black mindset in the Hispanic/Latino Culture.
I was very proud of Amara La Negra’s fight for Black pride………
👉🏿🔥🔥Until Amara upheld racist comments (using the N-word) by Angela Rodriguez, a non Black woman.
😬After that I lost all respect for Amara La Negra‼️
