Brother, I don’t know why do they think we’d ever choose to look like them. Their hair is flaccid, their skin is pale their buns are flat as pancakes, they’re box shaped, their noses get in the way of a good kiss, their lips are so thin they’re easily forgotten. Do I need to mention what happens when the rain mixes with their hair? When rain mixes with MY hair, I pull out the pick and I have another hairstyle. The smell of coconut is unmistakable. When the rain hits THEIRS, I can’t help but think someone German shepherd is running loose playing in the water. I know I don’t speak for all our sisters but THIS one has NO desire to be anything like them not this life, not in the next (if there’s such a thing). The biggest gift they can give me is PEACE.
