A Black woman that happens to be an advocate for dating interracially and is part of the “divestment” movement (a movement that tells Black women to cut all ties with Black men completely), made a video about her disdain for me promoting Black love and unity.
During her rant she speaks on her aversion to having children with Black men and tells Black women what they need to do and who they need procreate with if they want to have “pretty babies with caramel skin and good hair”.
This video is my reaction and message to her.
Without a doubt, this woman has been deeply hurt and having a hard time dealing with it. Hope she’s finds someone to talk to.

Angel, nice response to the woman in the video. You acknowledging her pain, but understanding you played no part in her personal views was refreshing. A brother showing a sister respect even in her self hate and ignorance made me and my daughter smile. A strong Black man speaking with authority and love for his people is not a common theme these days. Thank You!

So sad that this lady is full of so much self hate. It sounds like she has deep internal issues with herself. We as black people have to teach our kids to love themselves early on in life.

She ain’t the only one like this and probably won’t be the last. There’s ppl with dark skin that have the same ideology that mixing will make their offspring have a better more privileged life. Biracial kids come out looking all different types of ways, you may not get what you’re expecting and all that self hate the parent exudes will ruin the child’s view of their blackness. Too many Biracial ppl are confused, think they’re high and mighty compared to black folks, or don’t feel comfortable having black ppl in their lives/inner circles. The woman already has the “light skin” and she’s complaining about nappy hair and then saying there’s nothing wrong with black features. The confusion is strong with that one. Learn to take care of your hair and it will look amazing, the tighter textured hair is very beautiful and more unique bc only Africans have that kinky texture. Black ppl are exotic, we have a vast variation of skin colors, features, hair textures, cultures, nationalities etc. Embrace what you ended up with and be damn proud!
Choosing better should have to do with charater of the person. Do you and the person’s purpose line up? Are you emotionally, mentally, and spiritually attracted to him.
Love you for understanding her pain and not taking it personally.
