Michelle Obama
Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama (born January 17th, 1964) is an American attorney and author who served as the First Lady of the United States from 2009 to 2017. She was the first African-American woman to serve in this position. She is married to the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama.
Raised on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, Michelle Obama is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School. In her early legal career, she worked at the law firm Sidley Austin where she met Barack Obama. She subsequently worked in nonprofits and as the associate dean of Student Services at the University of Chicago. She was also the vice president for Community and External Affairs of the University of Chicago Medical Center. Michelle married Barack in 1992, and together they have two daughters.
Obama campaigned for her husband’s presidential bid throughout 2007 and 2008.
As first lady, Michelle Obama served as a role model for women and worked as an advocate for poverty awareness, education, nutrition, physical activity, and healthy eating. She supported American designers and is considered a fashion icon.
After her husband’s presidency, her influence has remained high. In 2020, Obama topped Gallup’s poll of the most admired woman in America for the third year running.
Did Barack Obama Really Call his Wife Michelle Obama “Michael”?
I was sent a video of Barack Obama giving a speech, in where it seems that he refers to his wife Michelle Obama as “Michael”.
Was this simply and accident? A slip of the tongue or a Freudian slip? Or a simple teleprompter error?
One Facebook post revived gender-focused claims about Michelle Obama that have circulated online for years.
“How many of you still don’t know that Michelle Obama was born Michael Lavaughn Robinson and is a man?” the post asks.
There is no evidence that the former first lady was assigned male at birth or ever named “Michael.”
The lack of evidence for the claims hasn’t stopped several people with large platforms from saying Michelle Obama is a transgender woman. Alex Jones, host of a conspiracy-focused talk show, has repeatedly pushed these claims on his show.
In 2017, he released a 12-minute video during which he analyzed photos and videos that he believed proved Michelle Obama was a transgender woman. SMH.
In this video, I will address the lie that “Barack Obama refers to Michelle Obama as Michael”. Yes, this goes deep.

A while back I was sent a video called “Michelle Obama and Serena Williams are men”….. Yep, you read right.
Some people are so annoying.
This video literally consisted of some weird guy stating that Michelle Obama and Serena Williams were men, because of the way their pants and skirts looked on particular interviews and TV shows. A 48 minute long video talking about the length of their ring fingers and naval positions.
Some people truly have too much time on their hands.
Let’s Look At The Facts
In this video we will look at the facts and shut down these crazy outlandish racist, misogynist claims made by these weird people.
Hmmm people would do anything to bring another person down. When the person is African, even more so. I am not surprised they will grasp at anything to fit, project or spew their bs narrative. They will get exactly what is coming to them because karma does not discriminate.

Certain people should be banned from YouTube because it’s dangerous in the wrong hands. I had a friend who sent me the pic of Michelle as a man and I ignored him because I refused to feed into his foolishness.
The thing I can’t take is the lack of logic that if Michelle was in fact trans, and she was married with kids, and a grad of an ivy league uni and law school with a prominent politician husband, her name would have been changed ages ago.
But on another note Michelle and Michael are the male and female version of same name in English although in French it’s Michel and Michele. Michaela, Makayla, Mikael aren’t English names but are versions of of Michelle and Michael as well. Mitchell isn’t the same etymology at all.
