Non-black people’s complacency makes them complicit in our oppression. By law, that means that they’re accessories to the greatest crime ever against humanity. Those who accept that they have benefited from white supremacy and truly want unity would agree that there must first come black unity. In the meantime, they must make use of their privilege, power, and position to reeducate their people and rectify or dismantle the white supremacy power structure. But instead of waiting for them to relinquish their power, I agree that black people should focus solely on black unity. Needless to say, any and all non-blacks should not try to impose on our mission/vision for black unity.
