I’m curious about the role of media propaganda consciously being utilized to motivate black men into becoming the leaders of our community. Perhaps not placing the black man’s image as the movement’s driving force was a missed opportunity? When considering how well most black men have internalized white supremacy through pervasive media influence, why can’t the same type of programming be tweaked for something productive rather than destructive? I’m considering the law of attraction, as well as the decline of pro-blackness in “black entertainment” throughout the decades, both go hand in hand.
