Little Black Child is a children's book for children of the African diaspora.
The book promotes self-love, self-respect, and self-worth. All while promoting unity, and giving our children the self-representation they deserve.
I wrote my book also with the intention of defeating colorism amongst the black community, and giving the kids a positive message they need to hear more often.
My goals are to continue to provide positive messages coupled with the images of various colored, and textured kids so each child will identify with one of the pictures.
It will teach them to love who they are because no on an love and believe in you like you can. If they lack it how they deserve to be treated versus what they'll allow will effect them until they unlearn and relearn who they are.
Our brown and black babies are royalty. We have to affirm them and speak life into them. They are our future!
