ERASING THE BLACK WOMAN
👉🏿1. Having a (visibly) Black woman play Anne Boleyn was done specifically as a gateway to erase the Black Woman from having upstanding Black Woman roles in the theater, historically or in fiction.
Upstanding meaning non drug addicted, non sexually confused, non downtrodden, educated, financially strong.
👉🏿2. A Political Agenda = in the past 12 years (2008) the strength and power of the Black Vote has come largely from Black Women!! This movie helps to diminish the strength and political voice of Black Women.
👉🏿3. Jodie Turner-Smith is the new-breed non-American Black person who is easy to persuade to help silence, diminish and erase Black American history and future. Such as Cynthia Erivo.
